Lakhanpur police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 204 forbidden capsules from his possession.
According to reports, Lakhanpur police apprehended a person wandering under suspicious conditions near Basoli naka and during the checking recovered 204 banned capsules from his possession.
He has been identified as Sanju Kumar son of Darbari Lal resident of Ghagwal, Hiranagar. During the investigation he confessed the smuggling of the capsules and said that he used to bring the drugs from Punjab for smuggling in Hiranagar area, police revealed.
Police has also registered a case in this regard and is investigating the matter.
