All India Brahaman Federation and several
organizations of Brahamans of Jammu have condoled the demise of the
wife of Pt. Dr. Dwarkanath Shastri, former President of Dogra Brahaman
Pratinidhi Sabha, a senior most leader of the Brahaman Community and a
highly learnt Sanskrit Scholar.
A joint condolence meeting of various organizations of the Brahaman
Community held here today, under the Chairmanship of Prof Davinder
Sharma, President All India Brahaman Federation paid rich tributes to
the departed soul and prayed for giving consolation to the bereaved
octogenarian husband of the deceased.
Others who attended the condolence meeting included S/Sh J K Sharma,
President Dogra Kalyan Sabha, M L Sharma, Senior Vice President
Central Brahaman Sabha, Om Prakesh Sharma, President Dehati Brahaman
Sabha, R C Sharma, President Poonchi Brahaman Biradari, Ajit Bahudar
Sharma and K L Sharma.
