A deputation from Kupwara district called on Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad here last evening and presented to him their demands.
The deputation led by Mr. Qaisar Jamshed Lone MLA Lolab urged for early settlement of SRO-43 cases in the district.
Another deputation led by President Municipal Committee Bhadarwah Mr. Javed Azad called on Chief Minister and pleaded for increasing rate of compensation of land acquired for university campus at Bhadarwah. The deputation comprised Mr. Bhagat Singh Manhas, Mr. Des Raj Katal, Mr. Irshad Ahmad and Mr. Sher Singh.
Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the deputations.
