| Hind Samachar group provides relief to militancy infested people | | Pak not a dependable country, says Gupta | |
EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | AUG 1 Pakistan is not a dependable country and the Congress guided by communal considerations has little skill to deal with this theoretic state. This was stated by the former Union Minister and Senior Leader of the BJP, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta while addressing a gathering on the eve of distribution of relief to the militancy affected people of Thampal in Arnas today. The relief was managed by Hind Samachar Group of papers. Prof. Gupta said that Pakistan has always been thriving on religious and aggressive postures. It was only during NDA regime, Pakistan was completed not only to withdraw its troops from along the borders but also because of the diplomatic skill of them Prime Minister. Atal Bihari Vajpayee that General Musharraf was forced to publically commit on Feb. 06, 2004, that Pakistan soil would not be allowed for indulgence of cross border terrorism. After this statement of military ruler of Pakistan the situation on the borer as well as in Jammu and Kashmir has considerably improved. He added and alleged that after change of guard at New- Delhi and controversial policies adopted by the Congress led Coalition of the state, the things have deteriorated and terrorism and secessionism are assuming new proportions. The BJP leader asserted that terrorism cannot be dealt with soft approach and so called Healing Touch Policies. He said that these policies have resulted in the infiltration of militant’s outfits in the ranks of police and even in the armed forces. He ridiculing the peace process he said that the peace process and terrorism cannot go together and alleged that the UPA government at the centre has failed on all fronts. The biggest proof of it is in the rise in terrorism as also the skyrocketing the process of eatables like that of food grains, pulses etc and the missing of the rations at the Government controlled depots, he said. The former General Secretary of the Pradesh BJP, Bhagwat Swaroop told the gathering that people facing terrorism are not alone in their fight adding the entire country are aware of the problems facing that people of militancy infested areas and the Hindi Samachar Group has done a lot in managing such a relief. The meeting was also addressed by Kabla Singh, the Madal President.
