| PDP demands early posting of BDO at Doongri | | | EARLY TIMES REPROTER
JAMMU | AUG 1
The senior leader of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) M.S.Tariq while addressing an public meeting at Rajouri assured the participants that the demands raised during the concerned authorities will he taken up with the concerned authorities as priority basis. He also said that government at thee higher level will also he apprised about difficulties people have facing here.
During the meeting people and party workers of the area put forth their demands and urged upon the PDP leader that the authorities he asked to releas4e funds to Panchayats, so that the development works for the benefit of people are taken in Ranol.
The participants showed resentment about the delaying tactics being adopted by the district administration as till date not even a single development work has been taken in hand despite assurances extended firstly by Mufti Mohd. Syed the then Chief Minister and even By Ghulam Nabi Azad, Chief Minster.
The participants invited the attention of Tariq towards the announcements made by both the Chief Minister of the Coalition regime for according status of block to Doongi (Rajouri) but till date neither any block development officer has been posted there nor any type of development work has been started. The people and PDP demanded immediate posting of Block Development Officer in Doongi and to providing of necessary infrastructure and requisite funds for development of the areas so that the poor masses have a sigh of relief.
