| Babu Singh distributes cheques under ISS | | | Kathua, February 11
Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Mr. Babu Singh distributed 300 cheques under Integrated Social Security Scheme among handicapped, widows and old age persons at a camp organized by the Social Welfare Department, here at Kathua today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Babu Singh urged upon the participants to take maximum benefits from various schemes launched by the Social Welfare department for the development of physically handicapped, old age, widows and destitutes. He said that these schemes have been formulated for improving their socio-economic condition.
The District Social Welfare Officer, Kathua informed the masses about various schemes launched by the Central as well state Government for the upliftment of weaker sections of the society. |
