‘Jammu Challo’, a big protest rally is being organized on February 14 by the workers of J&K National Trade union front (JKTUF) in support of their demands. This was disclosed by the president of the front Mohd. Gafoor Dar in a press conference here today.
Dar said the rally will start from old secretariat and culminate near civil secretariat and culminate near civil secretariat he said rally is being attended by all the major trade union workers, to come the state government to settle the genuine demands of working class viz, enhancement of wages of Anganwadi workers, regularization of ReT teachers, adhocs and class IV employees of sale tax and excise department and revival of medi-claim policy, and other problems. He said ‘Jammu Chalo’, rally will compel the authorities for early resolution of the long pending demands of the state Govt. employees and workers.
Among others who were present in the press meet were Sham sheer Singh, Rajinder Singh, Seva Ram Rathore, Jaswant Singh, Mrs. Shabu Rani, Mrs., Praveen Akhter, Mrs. Thapa, Mrs Kosar Naz, Ashok Kumar, Ram Lal, Lal Chand and Mukhtar Singh.
