Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency has virtually turned into a hub of corruption where genuine suppliers are being discouraged by implicating wrongly to give benefit to a blue eyed, who has been remained notorious for his misdeeds in State Power Development Corporation. Sources told Early Times that manufacturers of AC/DC LED lights and Solar Lights with different products in Jammu were issued one trial order for supply and commissioning of Solar Street Lights from JAKEDA through participation in e-tendering bid. "But a solar mafia being run by a serving officer, got lodged a false complaint through its tout who is an advocate by profession against genuine suppliers and managed to get withheld their payments just to divert the attention of these suppliers in litigations and giving benefit to their blue eyed with the blessings of an official of Science and Technology Department," they said. Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 19: Pakistan continues to violate the UN resolutions on J&K and bring material changes in the illegally occupied areas of Gilgit-Baltistan. The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday, while giving a written order regarding the constitutional status of Gilgit-Baltistan and the grant of "fundamental rights to its citizens", ruled that the powers of the top court also extended to the region. Earlier, Pakistan had ceded over 5,000 sq km area in the Gilgit-Baltistan region to China violating the UN resolutions on J&K.
