Altaf Bukhari showers undue favours on his kin
Official rehabilitated in JKPCC on day 1, promoted next day

Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 9: Roads and Buildings Minister Altaf Bukhari has created a record of sorts by unduly favouring a relative who was "absconding" from service for seven years. Bukhari not only got him rehabilitated in the J&K Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC) but also got him promoted within 24 hours. As already reported by Early Times, Bukhari got his relative Vikar Mustafa Shuntoo rehabilitated as Deputy General Manager, JKPCC. But this is not the only favour. Shuntoo was promoted within hours of his rehabilitation. According to official documents in possession of Early Times, Shuntoo was rehabilitated on June 22 and the very next day he was promoted. While the impugned order granting sanction to 1621-days leave for his absence from duty was sanctioned vide order No: 32 of 2015 issued dated: 22-06-2015, the impugned order promoting him to the post of General Manager (Civil) JKPCC Ltd in the pay scale of Rs 15600-39100 with GP of Rs 7000 was issued on 23-06-2015.
