Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 16: Principal opposition party of the country, Congress landed in a difficult situation after J&K unit of the party has decided to fight District Development Councils (DDCs) elections as one of the constituent of the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD). On the one hand BJP is all-out to exploit Congress’s alliance with “anti-nationals” in J&K, the party (Congress) is facing revolt in many areas because as per agreement of the alliance many seats where Congress candidates are strongly are allocated to alliance partners like National Conference and PDP. As some leaders of the PAGD have given “highly controversial and anti-national” statements, ruling BJP seized this opportunity to corner Congress at national level to expose principal opposition party for “joining hands with those who disrespect national flag” and “sought help from China to restore Article 370”. Sources said that thousands of applications are pending before authorities of the Transport Department.
