Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 9: Role of a former minister of the previous PDP-BJP government is under scanner after Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a case against M S Choudhary, former Director, Tribal Affairs, J&K, who is presently posted as CEO/MD State Procurement and Supplies Agency RDD, J&K. The said officer, who is facing charges of swindling funds worth lakhs meant to impart computer training to the poor Scheduled Tribes (STs) student, was blue-eyed boy of the former minister. Credible sources said that it was all due to support of the said minister that M S Choudhary was appointed as Director, Tribal Affairs, J&K. “As the former minister was very much aware that huge funds would be pumped by the Centre directly to the Tribal Affairs Department, he took a tough stand that Choudhary must be appointed as Director of the same department”, sources revealed to the Early Times.
