Agri Deptt sits over complaint of DOB tampering by senior officer

Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 18: The Agriculture Production Department is sitting over a complaint of Date of Birth (DOB) tampering by a senior officer, sources told Early Times. They said that the report about same was forwarded by Director Agriculture along with relevant documents nearly four months ago but till date no action has been taken. According to the communication forwarded by the then Director Agriculture Kashmir to Principal Secretary to Government APD, vide number Agri/Estt/Gaz-PF/2020-21/2780 dated 13/11/2020, a reference of the clarification sought by the Directorate of Agriculture from Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) regarding the minimum eligibility of age requirement to appear in the Matriculation Examination was given. It has been maintained that the Director Academics of JK BOSE vide its communication no.F(Acad-C) Elective-B/2 dated 4/9/2020 has intimated that eligibility to appear in Secondary Examination 10th must be 14+.
