Jammu, Apr 24: In brazen violation of norms, the authorities in Kashmir have allegedly allowed factories manufacturing furniture to resume operations in the category of units manufacturing essential commodities.
Official documents as seen by the Early Times show that the government had granted special permission for some of the factories in Kashmir dealing with essential services to resume work.
It is pertinent to mention that as all the commercial activities have been shut across Kashmir, the permission was granted for factories dealing with the manufacture of medicines, health related items and oxygen gas in particular to resume work.

SRINAGAR, Apr 24: Twenty (20) more positive cases of Corona Virus came to the fore from the different districts of Kashmir today. As a result of this, the number of positive cases of COVID-19 has reached 454 in the union territory.
Reports said that fresh cases were reported from Bandipora, Shopian, Kupwara and Baramulla districts of the Kashmir valley. While nine cases were reported from Bandipora district, Shopian, Kupwara and Baramulla districts accounted for five, four and two cases respectively.
