'Greedy' BJP leaders eyeing cash-rich SMVDSB

Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 25: Some 'greedy' leaders of the ruling BJP are eyeing on Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), which is the second richest shrine board in India. According to reliable sources, these leaders are trying their best to intrude into the Shrine Board through nomination or some legislation for becoming a part of the decision making group and then influencing the Board for their vested interests. A senior BJP leader who is also a part of the government is also learnt to have met Governor N N Vohra, who is chairman of the Shrine Board, in his attempt to make efforts for intruding some close confidants into the SMVDSB, sources said. However, sources added, the Governor stoutly refused to consider such suggestions of the "greedy BJP leaders."
