Early Times Report Srinagar, July 14: The Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has asked the panel headed by the Chief Secretary Mohammad Iqbal Khandey to expedite the process of finalizing the second list of the corrupt officials without any further delay. Sources told Early Times the Chief Minister has expressed dismay over officials taking time to finalize the second list. "The investigating agencies had prepared the list of at least 160 corrupt officials out of which 63 were shown the exit door recently. The list of 50 other corrupt officials has almost been finalized and the investigating agencies believe that the cases against the officials are water tight," sources added. They said the second list of the corrupt officials, includes the names of a few top and renowned officials, and once it's out it would definitely shake the administration. "The Chief Minister is very keen on ensuring that action is taken against the big wigs so that a strong message is sent that corruption won't be tolerated," sources added.
