Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 1: Rejecting the provocating statements from across the border, residents of Jammu and Kashmir ignored the first death anniversary of hardcore Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani. Leaders of Pakistan have asked residents of Jammu and Kashmir to observe hartal and hold processions in different parts of the Kashmir Valley to express solidary with the separatists. Outrightly rejecting the instigating and provocating calls given by Pakistani leaders, life remained normal in Kashmir Valley there was neither any protest nor any function on the first death anniversary of Syed Ali Shah Geelani. Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 1: Even as the Jammu and Kashmir High Court has ordered to reopen the case of the Nadimarg massacre wherein 24 Kashmiri Pandits were brutally murdered in the Pulwama district in March 2003, the development has come as a ray of hope for justice for the Pandit community in general and the survivors in particular. Early Times Report Srinagar, Sept 1: A Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) boy, who had sneaked to this side of the border inadvertently in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, was handed over by the Indian Army to their Pakistani counterparts on Thursday, defence officials said. They said that the boy had crossed the Line of Control from a village in Teetwal sector recently and was later detained by the Army. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Sept 1: The Government today informed that 147 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19)have been reported today; 26 from Jammu division and 121 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 477931. Moreover, 187 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 15 from Jammu division and 172 from Kashmir division.
