IAF rescues Israeli national from high-altitude area in Ladakh

Early Times Report Srinagar, Aug 31: The Indian Air Force on Wednesday rescued an Israeli national who was stuck at a height of more than 16,000 feet near Markha Valley in Ladakh. “On 31 August 2022, 114 Helicopter Unit received a call for casualty evacuation from Nimaling Camp near Markha Valley. The Israeli national, Atar Kahana, was suffering from high-altitude sickness, including vomiting and low oxygen saturation,” a Srinagar-based defence spokesman said. Early Times Report Jammu,Aug 31: Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has held that the candidate appointed directly can claim the seniority and other benefits from the date he is actually appointed and not from the date when the post was advertised . Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Aug 31: The Government today informed that 140fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19)have been reported today; 25 from Jammu division and 115 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 477784. Agencies New Delhi, Aug 31 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch the “CAPF eAwas” web-portal here on Thursday. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, increasing the Housing Satisfaction Ratio (HSR) for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) personnel is one of the priority areas of the government. Agencies NEW DELHI, Aug 31: The NEET-PG counselling for admission to postgraduate medical courses, which was scheduled to begin from September 1, is likely to commence from September 19, official sources said on August 31. The Union Health Ministry on Monday deferred the NEET-PG counselling to allow the National Medical Commission (NMC) to complete the process of adding new seats.
