Valley innovator selected for TTR- 2015 Isreal
Awaits passport renewal since 4 months

Jammu, Mar 5 : The young innovator from Kashmir valley who was selected for ambitious Technological Training Program 2015 at Israel is running from pillar to post for renewal of his passport, but the passport authorities in Srinagar seem in no mood to clear the case on priority. While talking to Early Times, 28 year Mirza Moha-mmad Idrees-ul-Haq Beigh said that he had applied for renewal of his passport on 21 of November 2014 vide file number: SG01C4001051614, adding that the passport had not been issued to him till date. He said that online track status of his passport shows that "Application is under review at Regional passport office Srinagar ". He said that all his verifications were completed in January 2015. Questioning the undue delay, he found no trace of his passport on visiting the office. He said that the CID office and local police station and both CID & Police station have sent all his verification on time. "Usually it takes only 2 months, but in my case It is more than 4 months & still they aren't issuing me a passport--- Interestingly I and my mother submitted documents together , she received her passport on 1st January but my passport is yet to reach me," said Beigh.
He urged the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to issue necessary directions to the concerned agencies for speedy disposal of his passport to avail the opportunity of joining the training in Isreal. It is pertinent to mention that Idrees Beigh has made several innovation in the last 10 years including Solar Kangri (Fire-pot), self charging mobile phone, solar water pump, SMS Based Non-Conventional Water Pump, solar air conditioner, aroma transfer device and several other innovations, but faces both official as well as government apathy as government turns deaf ear to all his innovation and did not provide any any logistic or financial support.
