Inter-college sports meet concludes

Jammu, Oct 17: Three days long Inter-College Sports Meet of Dogra Group of colleges concluded today with a valedictory function hosted by Dogra Law College and attended by many sports enthusiast.
During the three days long program which commenced on 15th October, various sports events were organized such as Volley Ball, Kabbadi , Kho-Kho, Tug Of War, Chess, Badminton, Lemon Spoon Race, Thread Needle Race,50mtr Race,100mtr Race and 200mtr Race . Around 200 students from the three colleges of Dogra Educational Trust namely Dogra Law College, Dogra Degree College and Dogra College of Education showcased their intrinsic talents with great zeal and zest and on the final day were felicitated for their unparalleled achievements with medals and certificates by the Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust. The chief Guest of the Medal ceremony of inter college sports meet 2018, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust in his address to the students emphasized on the importance of sports in every student's life as it teaches and inculcates qualities like dedication, leadership, sportsmanship and discipline. He further added that Dogra Educational Trust has always strived for the all round development of its students and has left no stone unturned for such endeavors.
