| JKMEFJ observes 3 hour strike | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 17: Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation Jammu Province observed mass three hours strike under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan President in all health institutions.
The strike was observed in, Sub Centers Sub District Hospitals and District Hospitals in Jammu Province in favour of Jammu Kashmir Female Multi Purpose health Worker Who are on Dharna /Protest at Madam Shahsi Bala Park DHS Complex Jammu and other District Headquarter of Jammu Province since last 52 days. Meanwhile the routine work at Directorate of Health Services, and all the adjoining office of Directorate Complex are suffered during the three hours call. Even the routine works like Operation, OPD, X-ray, ECG and OPD are hampered during the strike, but emergency has not been hampered during the strike. OPD Slips has not been issued to even a single patient all over the Division in Health Institutions this will affect a lot to the Government Exchequer. Further, the Health institutions in Jammu city i.e. Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Govt. Hospital Sarwal and Rajiv Gandhi Hospital Gangyal all the routine work suffered a lot. Sudan President JKMEF also apologized the suffering people who suffered a lot during the strike because they faced lot of inconvenience.
But the federation has no other alternative because the Government has not listed the just genuine demands of the FMPHWs who are on strike form the last 52 days. Again the federation has also threatened the Govt. if the demands will not be fulfilled soon the federation has no alternative to go indefinite strike. |
