GDC Udhampur organizes Yoga Camp

Udhampur, Oct 17: GDC Sankaar Sanskriti Manch Udhampur in collaboration with Government Degree College Udhampur organized Live Yoga Session in the conference Hall of the college today in which many NSS volunteers , other students and staff actively participated. Udhampur. Program began with 'Yog Parathana' prompted by President Bhartiya Yog Santhan Udhampur Chhaju Ram followed by the conduct of Yoga Prayanam and aasans. Saskaar Sanskriti Much president Dr.S.K.Magotra (Former Degree College Principal) delivered a detail lecture on the relevance of yoga in modern day life and emphasized upon the audience that if they adapt yoga as part of their routine life activity ,it will help them stay healthy and fit for other activities. It will help us in augmenting the amelioration of many life style health issues.
.He also exhorted upon the students to follow the Sanskaars that they have inherited as heritage from ancestors and definitely it will help them becoming good citizens. S.K.Gandotra, vice president of the Manch, also spoke on the occasion and threw light on the importance of yoga and also revealed as how the ' Sanskaar Manch Samiti' has evolved and is doing its bit in taking such kind of activities to the masses and students.
