ULB Poll results declared in Doda District

Results of the Urban Local Body polls for the 17 wards of Municipal Committee Doda have been declared where the contestants of Congress and BJP parties registered win over 3 wards each, while as 11 wards went to independent candidates.

The overall results are as under in Doda

Ward No 1: Zarina Begum- Independent.
Ward No : Gagan Deep-BJP.
Ward No 3: Asif iqbal- Independent.
Ward No 4: Nusrat Begum- Independent.
Ward No 5: Manzoor Ul Haq-Independate.
Ward No 6: Farooq Ahmed Lone-Independent.
Ward No 7: Umaira Rashid Congress.
Ward No 8: Adil Hussain Shah-Congres.
Ward No 9: Tanvir Indrabi- Independent.
Ward No 10: Toiba Begum- Independent.
Ward No 11: Shabir Ahmed-Independate.
Ward No 12: Asif Jahan Gattu-Congress with 2 votes
Ward No 13: Aisha Begum- Independent.
Ward No 14: Syed Shah- Independent.
Ward No 15: Ved Parkash- Indpendent.
Ward No 16: Romesh-BJP
Ward No 17: Koshaliya Devi-BJP

However, Tight security of arrangements were made by District Police, CRPF, SSB and Traffic Police at the counting centres
