Jammu, Oct 20: To carry out work for bifurcation of RSP-IV and RSP-VII feeders, the shutdown of 1 KV RSP-IV and RSP-VII feeders is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Sunderpur Road, Purana Pind, Park Revenue Centre, PHE DT, Khamb, Tunda Rice Mill Area, Christian Colony, G.M. School, Gigian, Chowla, Reddy, Jatt Sabha shall remain affected on October 22 and 25 from 8 am to 2 pm.
Meanwhile, for augmentation of power transformer from 6.3 MVA to 10 MVA at 33/11 KV Subash Nagar, the shutdown of 33 KV Subash Nagar line (Tower Line) is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Patoli, Shiv Nagar, Subash Nagar, Govt. Quarter Sarwal, Shanti Nagar, Paloura and adjoining areas will remain affected on October 21 from 9 am to 2 pm.
Similarly, to check the hotspots tightening /replacing of worn out/loose jumpers, droppers, isolators, CTs and set right of breakers, the power supply to Grid Station Gangyal, Sidhra I and II, Janipur, Jhajjar Kotli, Akhnoor, Kalakote, Gandhi Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Residency Road, Dhounthly Bazar, Kachi Chawni, Channi Himmat, Transport Nagar, Sainik Colony and Bathindi shall remain affected on October 21 from 7 am to 2 pm.
However, to execute work for erection of 132 KV Bus Coupler Bay and 132 KV Potential Transformer, Bus Isolator and Feeder Current Transformer, the power supply to Bari Brahmana, Kartholi, Ratnu Chak, Old Sainik Colony and adjoining areas including Industrial areas will remain affected on October 21 from 8 am to 2 pm.
Likewise, for erection of 33 KV LA's, fixing of cables and allied works at Peerkhoo, the power supply to Panjthirthi, Gujjar Nagar, DC office, Dhounthly, Kachi Chawni, Jail Bazar, Pacca Danga, Peer Mitha, Ustad Mohalla, Jullaka Mohalla and adjoining areas will remain affected on October 21 from 8 am to 1 pm.
Meanwhile, as per Superintending Engineer EM&RE Circle Kathua for reconductoring of K-VI feeder w.e.f October 21 to October 25, the power supply to Barmora, Shiv Puri, Tangri, PWD Colony, Jawahar Nagar, Karan Nagar, Krishna Colony, PHE, AIR and Hospital will remain affected from October 21 to 25 from 7 am to 12 noon.
