Fight in J&K is between nationalists and anti-nationals: Slathia
2/19/2019 11:09:51 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 19: Ridiculing those who have unleashed communally-motivated campaign that the people of Jammu province are against Muslims, JKHCBA, Jammu, president, Sr Advocate BS Slathia on Tuesday said that the ongoing movement in the entire Jammu province in the aftermath of the Pulwama massacre of 45 innocent CRPF jawans is between nationalists and anti-nationals and it is a national response to the subversive forces and to those who wanted to create a narrative that Muslims of Jammu were unsafe.
"Muslims of Jammu province are nationalists. They have all along defeated the evil designs of anti-national forces in Kashmir and across the border and LoC. They have always stood with the nation and communal harmony, brotherhood and peaceful co-existence. To say that the nationalists in Jammu province have targeted them is a travesty of the truth. The truth is that vested interests in Kashmir have been creating bad blood between the Hindus and Muslims to achieve their nefarious design: separation of J&K from India and its merger with Pakistan.," said Slathia, adding that Jammu province is an oasis of peace and communal harmony.
Slathia said that no one will be allowed to vitiate the atmosphere in Jammu province by raising pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans and that we the people of the province have been standing like a rock against such forces.
"Overwhelming Majority of population of Jammu and Kashmir State is a national asset. It is only the Kashmiri leadership which is hurting the nationalist Muslims. It is this Kashmiri leadership which has been trying to create a wedge between the communities in the state like they did in the aftermath of the unfortunate Rasana incident for petty vote-bank politics and promoting secessionism and pleasing their masters in Pakistani. I have no doubt that Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir have seen through the game plan of vested interests in Kashmir and Pakistan and that they will always be on the forefront when it comes to India Vs Pakistan and nationalists Vs anti-nationals," said Slathia.
It is heartening to note that J&K students studying in Pune, Maharashtra, have condemned the Pulwama terror attack, said Slathia, and added that there is no threat whatsoever to students from J&K anywhere in India who do not indulge in any anti-national activity and refuse to associate with anti-nationals.
At the same time, Slathia demanded stringent action against the Bharat Tere Tukde gang JNU girl student living in Delhi, who posted highly inflammatory posts to provoke anti-India protests in Jammu and elsewhere. He appreciated the stand of her parents -- presently living in Jammu -- that she be booked for the reported activities she indulged in. He demanded that WhatApp groups like "Kashmir Distress Alert" be banned, as they attempt to provoke fissiparous activities, which have all the potential of playing havoc with the nation by pitting people against people and region against region.
Slathia said that the real danger to India is not from Pakistan; the real danger is from the internal enemies, who masquerade as secularists, democrats and mainstream leaders, but miss no opportunity to subvert the Indian state both from within and without.
"Of course, Pakistan is an enemy, but we have defeated it in the past four times, and we can defeat it any number of times with ease. The real threat to India is from the internal enemies, who claim day in and day out that they believe in democracy, secularism and Hindu-Muslim-Sikh unity. If peace is to be restored in J&K, the internal enemies have to be defeated and defeated comprehensively," said Slathia, adding that the time has come to isolate, expose and bring to justice internal enemies whosoever they are and wherever they are.
In the mean time, Slathia again pledged that the JKHCBA, Jammu, will fight for the national cause in the state to the hilt and defeat the anti-national forces and declared that the work in all the courts, including the Hon'ble High Court, shall remain suspended on Wednesday, the Feb 20, 2019, as a mark of protest against the Pulwama massacre. .
Slathia also said that the JKHCBA, Jammu, has constituted a committee of lawyers charged with the duty of offering free legal aid to the nationalists who had been and are still being booked under fictitious and bogus charges. The said Committee will consist of Advocates Sudershan Sharma, Ashok Misra, Pranav Kohli, Sachin Gupta, Prem Sadotra, Himanshu Sharma, Daljeet Singh Manhas, Vikash Sharma, Monish Chopra, Gaurav Jamwal, Anil Khajuria, Vikas, Pankaj, Ajay Bakshi, Rohit Gupta, Surjit Andotra, Baldev Singh, Nitin Gupta, Divya Eshan, Rajat Gupta, Azar Khan, Arjun Singh Manhas, Zeeshan Chohan, Amit Manhas, Ameer Awan and Pradeep Gupta.
