Early Times Report
Jammu, July 20: Some mischievous elements within National Conference are hell bent to tarnish image of Minister of State for Industries & Commerce, Home, H&UD, R&B and Mechanical Engineering, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, by issuing highly objectionable statements on his behalf. Credible sources said that after appearing of a news item in the news paper, Sajjad Kitchloo had issued a handout to clear his position. In the original handout, Kitchloo only refuted the report that he was lobbying for PDP ticket from Kishtwar constituency. Kitchloo said that the report was baseless and concocted and has no relevance. He said that like his late father, he always believe in the leadership of National Conference, adding that he will always work as a true party soldier who will continue to work for the upliftment of poor masses of state and particularly for the betterment and welfare of the people of Kishtwar district. He said that Kitchloo family is among the founder members of the National Conference right from plebiscite movement, adding that his joining PDP is likely Chief Minister Omar Abdullah joining the new party. He said that PDP has no base in Kishtwar district and termed the PDP as sinking ship. Interestingly some mischievous elements, who are jealous of growing popularity of Kitchloo in Jammu province and his relations with media houses, issued a highly objectionable, rather abusive hand-out in his name. Credible sources said that Kitchloo was himself not aware that such a derogatory handout was issued on his behalf. Kitchloo had only issued a simple clarification to clear his position but on his behalf another hand out was issued. Following investigation, it came to the notice that handout was deliberately issued, without knowledge of the Minister, to tarnish his image in the public. |
