| Jammu, Sept 3 : National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) has appealed state government for immediate release of pending installment of 10% DA due from January last, 4th installment of the 6th pay commission arrears, regularization of all daily wagers working in various departments of the state government and enhancing the medical allowance to rupee one thousand per month. According to press release, during a rally at Green Belt Park, NMC president stated that in view of the inbuilt provisions in the current year state annual budget, there should not be any hitch for the state government in releasing these incentives, said and adding that when several State governments have already released the 10% DA installment since long. An early decision in this regard would be genuine measure to provide some relief to them, he added. Expressing concern over the continuance of pay anomalies of clerical cadre of the state government, he urged Omar Abdullah for immediately addressing most genuine demand of the affected employees. |
