PTW organizes advanced training programme | | | Jammu, Sept 3 : Police Transport Workshop Jammu in association with TATA Motors today organised an "Advanced Training Programme" for "Maintenance and Repairs" of J&K Police Departmental Transport fleet.According to press release, Ranjit Singh Sambyal, senior Superintendent of Police, inaugurated the workshop and during his inaugural address he expressed his gratitude to Anmol D Rajarshi and RohitBhat Customer Support Manager for Commercial Vehicles & Passenger Car of TATA Motors Ltd. for their support in organising such programme. He said that the main objective of the programme is to update the knowledge of Technicians of PTWS Jammu for the latest technology used by TATA Motors Ltd. to meet the day-to-day challenges/ emergences in maintaining the latest purchased departmental vehicles from TATA Motors and above all to maintain the service level of this workshop at par with the other Security Agencies. The training programme will include all the TATA make commercial & passenger vehicles purchased by the J&K Police. The engineers will provide advanced technical classes to the technical staff of PTWS Jammu for updating and enhancing their technical knowledge, soft skills and skills for existing as well as future products to ensure the excellent service & management of departmental vehicles. A team from M/S Fairdeal Motors Ltd. conducted preventive checks, on routine maintenance and repair of all vehicles and imparted invaluable Automobile maintenance and repair training to technical staff of the workshop.The training will cover the vehicles issued by Police Headquarters J&K to agencies such as SSG, VVIP vehicles of Security Wing and other sister concerns established in Jammu province. |
