Jammu, Sept 3 : Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will pay a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir from September 5, official sources said here today.
"Rajnath Singh will review the security scenario in the state," the sources said.
They said that the Union Home Minister will also visit the forward areas of bordering Ranbir Singh Pura against the backdrop of cross-border firing and will interact with the locals.
"He will also visit the Jagati Township of Kashmiri Pandits at Nagrota," they said.
Rajnath Singh will fly to Srinagar in the evening and on September 6, he will also hold Unified Headquarters meeting of top police, Army, Para-military troops and brass of other agencies. |
