Jammu, Sept 3: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshal University Teaching Association (BGSBUTA) today preceded on indefinite strike, as the order approved by Vice Chancellor are not implemented by the University authorities.
According to press release, Teaching Association members expressed their deep displeasure over the fact that the University has put the implementation of their demands like implementation of UGC norms with regard to contractual engagement of superannuated persons a, rotation policy, re-designation of Teaching Assistants, study leave , career advancement scheme for teachers on the backburner. The teachers have firmly decided that they will continue their ongoing strike till it is brought to the logical conclusion. |
