JAMMU, Nov 6: Hosted by the University of Jammu (JU), the North Zone Inter-University Handball (men and women) Tournament shall start tomorrow on the campus grounds, here.
The competition shall be declared open by former Director General of Police (DGP) of J&K Police, Dr Ashok Bhan, who has consented to be the chief guest. Vice Chancellor of JU, Prof R D Sharma shall preside over the opening function slated to be held at 10.30 am.
Meanwhile, it has been reliably learnt that the managers and coaches of the participating teams held an interactive session with the organizers in a meeting held under the chairmanship of organising secretary, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education on the campus this evening. |
