PHD CCI delegation interacts with DIG Traffic

JAMMU, Apr 22: PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry delegation today had an interaction with Ashkoor Ahmad Wani IPS, DIG Traffic, Jammu, Mohan Lal, SSP Traffic in his office chambers.
According to press release, the delegation stressed upon effective traffic management in the city in particular Jewel Chowk to Canal Head, Canal Head to Domana, Bakshi Nagar to Rehari, New Plots to Janipur and suggested for Four laning of Akhnoor Road, all idle Truck parking on both sides of Bakshi Nagar Bridge be shifted to near Domana, entry of trucks from Akhnoor after10:30 p.m.
The Chamber also requested for removal of illegal Fruit & Vegetable Stalls which have come up from Bikano Restaurant to Tripple S Farms. The delegation further suggested for early completion of proposed By-pass from Fourth Tawi Bridge to Nagbani. The Chamber also sought for strict and rigorous implementation of rule of law in particular on wrongly parking Vehicles and vehicles driving in wrong lanes and the chamber also suggested for operationalization of defunct traffic lights.
DIG Traffic Jammu assured strict implementation of law and assured to initiate steps to facilitate smooth flow of traffic across all roads of Jammu and further stated that in the next month, difference in traffic flow would be visible to all citizens of Jammu.
The delegation was led by Vikrant Kuthiala, Chairman and consisted of Vinod Sachdeva, Kuldeep Gupta, Rahul Sahai, Arun Gandotra, Sanjay Aggarwal, Arun Mahajan, Deepak Daftri, Shivang Mahajan, Prashant Mathur and Pamil Shandalya.
