KATHUA, July 25: Bar Association Kathua on Saturday has come forward in support of Jammu shut down call regarding the AIIMS issue given by AIIMS Coordination Committee (CC). Bar Association Kathua told the Early Times that AIIMS CC which has been spearheading the ongoing movement for setting up of separate AIIMS in Jammu is a genuine demand which is fully supported by the association. The Jammu shut down call given by the committee will also be fully backed by the Kathua Bar association, spokespersons of the association said. As a responsible organization, that Bar Association of Kathua will make the strike successful in Kathua district with the support of all political and social organizations, association informed.. While lamenting the PDP-BJP coalition government, the BAR Association Kathua alleged that this coalition has failed to solve the issue of AIIMS and cheated the Jammuites. Meanwhile Members of Bar Association Kishtwar under the presidentship of I. A. Hamal decided to suspend the work in court for 7 days to support the call given by J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu as a mark of protest against the failure of government to set up AIIMS in Jammu Region as was promised by the ruling government, added that the faith of people of Jammu has been breached and they have been betrayed.
