DIG holds police darbar

Kathua, July 25 : DIG Jammu-Kathua-Samba range Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, today held police Darbar in which he review the police preparedness to deal with subversive activities especially Fidayeen attacks, crime and to ensure peace and tranquillity in district.
According to press release, he also held a meeting of all the territorial officers of District Kathua which includes SP Kathua Neeva Jain, Additional SP Nasir Ahmed, All SDPOs/SHOs of District Kathua.
All the officers were briefed to remain alert in their area of responsibility in view of the ongoing Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra. All Border Police Posts/Police Stations, Police Posts and Nakas should remain fully strengthened and alert to meet any eventuality.
