| Narco-smuggler held with charas | | |  Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Sept 24: Continuing its drive against narcotics smugglers, Police today arrested a narcotics smuggler and recovered 190 grams of charas during a raid at a shop at Seri Bazar Bhaderwah.
"The accused has been identified as Shokat Ali s/o Ghulam Mohd resident of Nagani, Gugara, Khara of district Doda," police sources said.
Sources said that the catch was made by the police team led by SI Naiz Ahmed ,SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Bandeshwar Singh Manhas under the supervision of DySP Sajjad Khan , ASP Bhaderwah Amit Bhasin and SSP Doda Zahid Naseem Manhas.
Police sources said, "On specific inputs, police party from Police Station Bhaderwah intercepted a person for checking on suspicious grounds at a shop in Seri Bazar Bhaderwah.
"During checking, police recovered 190 grams of charas and arrested above said accused, sources said.
Police sources said that FIR has been registered at PS Bhaderwah under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and further investigation started. |
