Rajouri, May 17: Rajouri police claimed to have arrested a bootlegger alongwith 64 pouches of liquor during a naka at Siot, Dharamsal in Rajouri district.
Police spokesperson said, following specific input SHO P/S Dharamsal Insp Darshan Singh under the supervision of Addl SP Nowshera Atul Sharma, laid a naka at Siot, Dharamsal and during naka checking Police intercepted a Scooty (JK11A-8620) and recovered 64 pouches of illicit liqour each 250 ml hidden in its dickey.
"During checking of vehicle the accused fled away from the spot, police said adding, the accused has been identified as Sushil Kumar R/O Lamberi.
"A case under FIR 41/2016 U/S 48-A Ex. Act has been registered at P/S Dharamsal and investigations are on in this regard. |
