Rajouri, May 17: As a part of drive against menace of Bovine smuggling, police today foiled a bovine smuggling bid with the seizure of seven animals which were left abandoned by the bovine smugglers near naka near ITI Sunderbani of Rajouri district.
According to police spokesperson, on specific input Police team led by SHO P/S Nowshera Insp Ravinder Singh Parihar under the supervision of Addl SP Nowshera Atul Sharma, during laid a naka at ITI Sunderbani during intervening night of 16/17."
"During naka checking Police rescued 07 bovine animals when on noticing police on road, the suspected bovine smugglers managed to escape from the spot taking the advantage of darkness.
In this connection, Case FIR Nos. 31/2016 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PCA has been registered at P/S Sunderbani and investigation going on. |
