Employee draws salary from JKPCC, works at MD's residence 6/30/2016 12:05:16 AM Ishtiyaq Ahmad Early Times Report srinagar, June 29: In a brazen violation of norms, an employee of J&K Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC) Ltd, who works as domestic help at the residence of, Managing Director, marks his daily attendance in the office registry. Source told Early Times the employee, working as helper is practically serving as a cook at the Jammu as well as Srinagar residences of the MD. "Who also used to move with the camp office during Annual Darbar move, marks his daily attendance in the office registry but remains invisible since he never performed either in office or in the field. He is permanently discharging his duties as a cook for," they said. "The duty of the said official includes preparing daily meals for MD JKPCC and bringing the lunch daily to his office and that too by utilizing the official vehicle for pick and drop. As and when the MD moves out of office for official tours he takes the said cook along with him in another official vehicle which shows the luxurious living of Thusu," they added. A senior official of the Corporation wishing anonymity said for his personal comfort the MD was throwing all rules and norms to winds. "The cook has remained attached with Thusu since long back during the period when he was DGM in the Corporation and during the period when he was serving outside the Corporation in other departments viz M.D Housing Corporation and secretary state sports council. He still used to serve him at his residence and surprising part is that nobody in the Corporation has ever raised any objection in this regard fearing undue action against them," he revealed. To cover up his 'misdeeds', he said, Thusu has an inherent magic of keeping his higher officers in a comfortable zone. "He has placed one official vehicle (Renault Duster) with Commissioner Secretary PWD Rohit Kansal for his personal use even without keeping an official driver of the Corporation. The POL of the vehicle and other maintenance and other expenditures are being borne by the Corporation.
