If ISIS has not made inroads in Kashmir Pakistan is responsible for it

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 10: If a group of youth shout pro-India slogans they are seemingly Indians. If on the other a group of people shourt pro-Pakist an slogans they seem to have pro-Pak sentiments and feelings.Similarly if some youth raise ISIS slogans they are not only the supporters of the ISIS but wish to be activists of the outfit.
And if the Government of India claims that ISIS has not made inroads in Kashmir on which basis India rests its claim. The Government of India has said the Islamic State has not been able to make inroads into the Kashmir valley. The Union Minister of state for Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir has said in the Lok Sabha that the only incident related to the ISIS that was reported from the Valley was raising of slogans in favour of the outfit in November 2017.Ahir said some miscreants had raised ISIS slogans after the killing of a militant in a gunfight at Zakoora, Srinagar on November 17, 2017.
"Apart from this incident, there has not been any report of influence of ISIS in the Valley," the MoS Home told the Parliament. "No suspect having links with ISIS has been reported in Jammu Kashmir." However, he said some individuals had gone to the IS-held conflict area to join the outfit.Ahir said GoI was keeping a watch on cyber space in this regard. "NIA and some state security agencies have already registered cases to investigate the alleged links of individuals with ISIS and have also arrested more than 100 ISIS supporters and sympathizers in these cases," he said. The Union Minister of state for Home Affairs has been evasive on the details of where these 100 people have been arrested. But IS is trying to establish its basis in Kashmir but since Pakistan is scared of the activists of the ISIS Islamabad does not want to encourage IS activists to make inroads in Kashmir.Once the IS activists are active in Kashmir they may not allow pro-Pak terrorist outfit like LeT and JeM besides Hizbul Mujahideen to raise their head. That should be one of the reasons for delay on the part of the IS to make inroads in Kashmir. Pakistan and its Army functionaries are satisfied with the activities of LeT and JeM and attempt was being made by Islamabad and its agencies at promoting ties among LeT,JeM and Hizbul Mujahideen outfits.Since reports say that Syed Salahuddin, chief of United Jehad Council, wants to promote Hizbul Mujahideen activists Pakistan has plans of replacing him.But there has been delay in implementing the plan because Islamabad wants Salahuddin to be given another chance..
Whether for personal safety or the safety of the nation Pakistan has played a positive role in disallowing ISI in gaining foothold in Kashmir. But once ISIS establish bases in Pakistan its activists may cross into Kashmir. That is a matter of concern for India and its troops.
