RSS orders review to take call on future of PDP- BJP Coalition
3/25/2018 11:42:55 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 25: Following replacement of Ramesh Pappa with Rupesh Kumar, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is learnt to have asked its local unit to prepare a detailed `appraisal report' of the of the coalition government in the state and its effect on Sangh Parivar during the last three years.
According to sources in Sangh Parivar, the RSS high command is fully convinced that BJP's alliance with PDP for power in J&K has severely dented its image across the country. This feeling had started emerging soon after the coalition Government came to power in J&K but a section in Sangh Parivar was of the opinion that BJP was not assertive due to lack of experience and the things would streamline with the passage of time.
As the things started worsening, some power centers within BJP and RSS managed to get those opposing the continuation of alliance with PDP replaced citing Sangh Parivar ideology. "This was the reason that despite strong resentment brewing among the Sangh Parivar cadre, there was no review of the decision for alliance with PDP", sources explained.
However, the replacement of Ramesh Pappa with Rupesh Kumar as Prant Pracharak and appointment of Arun Kumar as All India Prachar Pramukh of RSS has changed the situation. The consequent result is that RSS high command is in no mood to continue the existing arrangement, which has severely dented the Sangh Parivar image, sources said.
However, sources explained, despite being convenience that coalition with PDP was not in interest of the organization, the RSS high command has directed its State unit to prepare an `appraisal report' listing benefits and damages to the Sangh Parivar because of PDP-BJP Government in J&K for deciding further course of action.
