Inter House Competitions held

Jammu, May 4: MV International School organized various Inter House activities in junior and senior wing. Inter House English Poem Recitation Competition was held for classes 3rd to 5th.
They exhibited their talent, rhyme and rhythm with confidence, variety of topics were chosen for recitation like nature, trees, fruits, mother, teacher etc. Judges of the event had a tough time in finalising the winners.
First position was won by 'The Supremes House' team comprising of Akriti(3A), Ayush Joshi(3A), Ashwika Bhatia(5C) & Gunjan Dutta(5A). 'The Invincibles House' stood second with participants as follows: Shikha(4A), Pearl(4C), Ridhima Sambyal(5A) & Madhvan Sambyal(5B). Third position was won by Pragun Manhas(3A), Ashwika Mahajan(5A), Rudrakshi Sharma(4A) & Akshita Baboria(5A) of 'The Victors House'.
In another event, class 1st and 2nd participated in Intersection Colouring Competition. Class wise First Position winners were Arush Choudhary(1A) & Divya (2B); Second Position was won by Vidhi Slathia(1C) & Shiv Krishna (2A); Third Position was secured by Jeevika(1B) & Sarisha Verma(2C).
In the Senior Wing, Inter House Girls Volleyball Tournament teams from four different houses participated. 'The Invincibles House' won the tournament and the team members were Kashish(9C), Lovish Dogra(9C), Suneha(9A), Shreya Yadav(9A), Monika Jagral(9C), Mehak Rajput(11A), the Runners Up were Komal Sambyal (9B), Ankita Jamwal (9C), Apurva(11A), Kajal(11A), Suman(11A), Erika(9A) of 'The Victors House'.
Inter House Boys Football Tournament was organized for class 9th and 11th. 'The Maestros House' won over 'The Invincibles House' by 1-0. The winning team comprised of Shivam (11A), Kamaljeet (11A), Aryanveer (11A), Shivam (11A), Udayveer (11A), Kartavya (11A), Amit (11A), Vishal (11A), Imran (9C), Kirtan(9C), Danish (9C). Inter House English Debate Competition on the topic "Are video games containing violence appropriate for school children" was organized for classes 6th to 8th. The students participated with full enthusiasm, they presented their views in favour and against the topic. First position was won by 'The Invincibles House' comprising of Geetika(6C), Bhumika(8A), Haridhika(8A). The second position was won by Akshat Joshi (7A), Harshit Mankotia(7A), Shivali Sambyal(7C) of 'The Masteros House'. 'The Supremes House' stood third with participants as follows: Anushka Soan(7C), Sahil Khanna(7C), Pranjel Verma(7D).
