Inter School District Karate competition held

Kathua, May 7: As part of Inter School District Level Tournament organised by the Department of Youth Servises and Sports District Kathua, the competitions of Karate for under 14 and 17 years boys and girls held here at sports stadium Kathua under the overall supervision of DYSSO Kathua Subash Chander Bhardwaj.
A total of 115 players of 15 schools of district participated in today's events. The matches were officiated by Punjab Singh, Pankaj Spolia, Rakesh Singh Manhas, Gurusharan, Romesh Singh, Madhu Bala. Activity incharges Dharminder Singh Shally, Rani Andotra, Kuldeep Singh, Mohinder Kumar were also present on the occasion. U-17 Years Boys, Ganesh Singh of Manu Shiksha Kendra Rajbagh, Nikhil Rajput , Yogesh Sharma,of KPS Barnoti, Digvijay Singh of JSS Kathua, Pawan Kumar of DAV Kathua, Piyush Sharma of KPS Barnoti, Dudisit Mansotra of Kids Heaven Kathua, Arayan Singh of Little Angels Kathua stood first in below 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and above 70 KG weight categories respectively. U-17 Years Girls, Isha Bhat, Sohani Sambyal of JSS Kathua, Manish Chambyal of Manu Shiksha Kendra Rajbagh, Sukhpreet Kour and Pawan Pareet Kour of IPS Kathua.
