Kathua, May 9: The foundation day of Tagore Vidyarthi Vikas Sanstha (TVVS) Kathua was celebrated in the premises of Govt. Primary School Colony Kathua .
Raman kumar Customer Assistant State Bank of India College Road Kathua was invited as Chief Guest on the occasion. The function was started with lightening of the traditional lamp and garlanded the flowers to the portrait of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore.
On the occasion 25 needy and talented students of 9th class from different government institutions were adopted and Sanstha will provide all kinds of study materials required to complete their academic session 2018-19, 2019-20. The Chief guest distributed Books, Uniforms, School Bags and Books among the adopted students.
The chief Guest in his speech appreciated the efforts of the Sanstha and recalled his past days when he was also adopted by the sanstha in Ist batch in 2001.
Prominent among Bansi lal Gupta, Rahul Khatru, Subash chander, Deepak Gupta ,Kernail Singh, Lalit Dogra , Mohan Lal , Ravinder Kumar , Naresh Kumar , Sunil Gupta and Sahil Verma attended the function. |
