Unemployed youth criticizes AFCONS company recruitment process

Kishtwar, June 3: Unemployed youth of district Kishtwar has strongly opposed the recruitment notification issued by AFCONS company for the construction of Pakal Dul HEP.
The youth leaders have termed the notification flawed in which the conditions and qualification of job seekers have crossed all the limits as compare SSRB and SSC boards.
They said the company is going to recruit manpower on third party rolls( Labour supplier) that too on daily wage bases in Pakal Dul HEP where in it has been mentioned that a driver should be matriculate ,Electrician should be ITI trained with 7 years of experience ,Carpenter ,mason and sweeper should be 8th pass with experience .
The leaders have demanded experienced job seekers of District Kishtwar should be given first priority of employment in Pakal Dul HEP and those having no experience should be engaged as trainee for a period of 6 months as per the policy adopted by JP Company in DHP and BHEP .
Those participated in the meeting includes Joginder Bhandari, Rinku Sen, Gh.Hussain Gannie, Anil Sharma, Sardar Satpal Singh ,Mohd Ashraf Gannie, Jaffar Butt,Ajay Sharma, Hafiz Mattoo, Farooq Lone, Shanker Singh Wazir, Ranjeet Sharma, Surjeet Badyal, Rajinder Singh Shan, Sanjay Bhagat,Akhter Hussain, Asgar Ali etc.
