Early Times Report poonch, July 2: NHM Employees Union of district Poonch under supervision of Raza Ganai urged upon the Governor of J&K to formulate regularization policy for all National Health Mission employees of the state on account of their genuine and long pending demand. In a press statement, Ganai said more than 10000 employess are working in Health department under different schemes of( NHM) which includes RBSK, NCDS, IDPS, RNTCP, JKSACS, NACO, for last more than twelve years. Adding that we are well qualified where we do go now" Why other Departments but not NHM?", "We deserve to be regularised", We have crossed upper age limit for Government jobs,Why is Government neglecting NHM staff. Raza Ganai said that "we have approached the government and all concerned departments/ agencies over last more than 06 years for framing a policy of regularization of our employees but unfortunately till date, none of our genuine demands has been conceded." NHM is backbone of health care and the main motive of NHM is to develop health care in India. NHM employees are working in rural areas as well as in urban areas 24x7. India is polio free because of NHM. The association also sought personal intervention of the Honorable governor for immediate redressal of all other demands of national health mission employees. |
