| For 3 yrs, student visits BOSE office for mark sheet | | | AB Sharma

Rajouri, July 7: The standard of J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) has been touching its low with each passing day particularly in terms of the public delivery. For example, a student has been visiting the BOSE regularly for the last three years to get his matriculation mark sheet but to no avail.
Roshan Lal, son of Baldev Raj, of Panchayat Nallha Makol in Sunderbani area of Rajouri had passed his matriculation in 2015-16. But he did not received his mark sheet.
"After few months of declaration of result, when I didn't get my matriculation mark sheet and diploma, I visited the BOSE office at Sunderbani where officials asked me to visit main office of BOSE at Jammu. I was told that the mark sheet and diploma certificate have gone missing," said Roshan.
He said he must visited the Jammu office of BOSE "approximately 100 times" in the last three years and faced arrogant attitude of the employees there. "BOSE has spoilt my career as neither I could take further admission not appear in Army recruitment due to absence of documents. I was very interested to join the Army but I could not take part in the recruitment. I am unable to understand what is my fault. Who will compensate my precious three years," he asked. He said that it costs him Rs 300 as bus fare of per visit to Jammu and after including refreshment the expense goes to Rs 500. "In BOSE office, nobody is bothered to understand the problems of students, they take everything in casual way which ultimately affect the visitors like me," he rued. |
