Kathua, July 23: Dr Manohar lal sharma exhorted upon the cadre to gear up for upcoming Panchayati and Muncipality elections and said that it was a big opportunity for them to make another new beginning.
Today meeting of party worker's held at Kathua under the leadership of Senior Congress Leader, Former Minister, General Secretary PCC, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma ji. The meeting was attended by Ex MLC Subash Gupta Ji, Ex MLA Jagdish Sapolia ji, Naresh Sharma Ji and many other prominent leaders and worker's of the Kathua District.
He said that both parties are responsible for discrimination with Jammu region and BJP who consider themselves the so called 'Massiyah' of Jammu people is more blame worthy than PDP. He further said that that they should stop the childish actions of blaming each other with a view to befool the people. He also said that people of Jammu are now fed up with their petty politics and will tech them a lesson in fourth coming elections.
He said that developmental projects initiated by UPA government had not been carried forward by the PDP-BJP government and all their claims on development are fake and false as has been admitted by BJP leadership recently. He said that Jammu region as a whole faced worst ever neglect and discrimination. He said that people of kathua district and all along border areas are the worst sufferers during the period. He asked the party workers to gear up for political process and unitedly defeat the communal and divisive forces.
He blamed BJP for misleading people on every count just to share power with PDP, as that, despite the contradiction in the approach of PDP BJP, the coalition partners shared power for three and half years by not caring about urges and aspirations of the people. Alleging that PDP BJP secured votes by making false promises and mainly against each other, as a result, people not only in Jammu but in Kashmir and Ladakh feel backstabbed and betrayed by the opportunist alliance. He said, the time has come when the people of all three regions of the state will teach them lesson.
