ReT teachers protest for implementation of 7th Pay commission

Doda, July 28: On the call of Teachers joint Action Committee (TJAC) like others parts of the state peaceful protest was observed by RET teachers in different Education zones of district Doda including ZEO/CEO office Doda .
The main protest was held at District headquarter in front of CEO office Doda under the chairmanship of Sajad Malik Distict president and hundreds of teachers protested in favour of 7th PC and was specially attended by Ashaq jaral District sr. Vice president, Hamietullah wani state organisor, Riaz Ahmed shiekh Zonal president Doda, Shoket Ali Ganie Zonal president Gundna, Nasser Ahmed shiekh and kifayat Khan District organisors, Khursheed Ahmed Natnoo Tehsil president Gundna, Mubashir Ahmed Mir Tehsil president Jathali, Mohd Afzal shiekh, Azad Hussain and others. All the Speakers demanded redressal of their genuine and pending demands especially implementation of 7th pay commission in favour of teachers and head teachers working in SSA schools and dilinking of SSA salary from MHRD to state budget.
Sajad Malik District president while addressing the gathering lambasted government and authorities concerned for messing with the emotions of the Rehbar E Taleem Teachers and forcing them to come on the roads to raise their voice for their genuine demands." He said that they will continue to protest if their demands will not be redressed.
Ashiq Jaral Sr. Vice president Doda while protesting for the genuine demands said that As per the CSR and service record
"We are state Government employees, 7th Pay Commission, Transfer Policy and timely salary are our right but unfortunately the previous anti teacher Government has snatched our rights and we appeal His Excellency to ponder on this and take cognizance of this genuine right.
All the speakers requested worthy Governor of the state and state administration for immediate rederssal of our genuine demands so that the teachers may come out of mental trauma and perform their duties.
