| Vansh, Javed qualifies for World University Games-2019 | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 16: Ace fencers Vansh Mahajan and Javed Ahmed from J&K State registered their worth into the World University Games-2019.
Vansh Mahajan, International fencer and Javed Ahmed have been selected in the Savre Event (fencing) for World University Games to be held from July 3 to July 14 at Napoli, Italy.
Vansh Mahajan, International fencer has represented India as well as number of open international championships.
Javed Ahmed as fencer has also represented in the last World University Games- 2017 at Taipei, Taiwan.
Trainees of fencing Coach Sh. Chotu Lal of J&K State Sports Council, fencers were selected during selection trials held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on March 14 Thursday.
Both fencers will be representing Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in the competition and their mentors are International State Awardee Rasheed Ahmed Choudhary and Ujjwal Gupta. |
