Congress' Hindu terror theory collapses
Samjhauta blast
3/23/2019 11:13:25 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Mar 22: "All the four accused, Naba Kumar Sarkar alias Swami Aseemanand, Lokesh Sharma, Kamal Chauhan and Rajinder Chaudhary have been acquitted by the court," NIA counsel Rajan Malhotra said on Wednesday. The blast in the India-Pakistan train took place near Panipat in Haryana on February 18, 2007, when it was on its way to Attari in Amritsar, the last station on the Indian side. The Samjhauta train blast had left 68 people, mostly Pakistanis, dead in 2007
Before pronouncing the verdict, NIA special judge Jagdeep Singh dismissed the plea filed by a Pakistani woman for examining some eyewitnesses from her country. "The court ruled that the plea of the Pakistani woman was devoid of any merit," Malhotra said.
The blast had ripped apart two coaches of the cross-border train. The Haryana police registered a case, but the probe was handed over to the NIA in July 2010. The NIA filed a charge sheet in July 2011 against eight persons for their alleged roles in the terror attack. After the trial court's verdict on Wednesday on Samjhauta blast case, the fake Hindu Terror Theory floated by Congress leaders during the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) regime stands completely exposed. What is disturbing is the hushing up of the role of Lashkar-e-Tayyiba's (LeT) in the incident, well documented by the United Nations (UN) Security Council. From 2008 onwards, Congress which was facing Lok Sabha elections in 2009, floated the Hindu Terror theory and started arresting many Right Wingers. Congress leaders P Chidambaram, Kapil Sibal and Digvijaya Singh started this malicious campaign with the blessings of the then party President Sonia Gandhi and started arresting and torturing many "Right Wingers" to fix the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leadership in the case.
The UN Security Council (UNSC) indicted LET in 2009 itself for the Samjhauta Blast. The UNSC resolution clearly said that the LeT did this with the help of Al-Qaida. "Arif Qasmani is the chief coordinator of Lashkar-e-Tayyiba's (LeT) (QE.L.118.05) dealings with other organizations and has provided significant support for LeT terrorist operations. Qasmani has worked with LeT to facilitate terrorist attacks, including the July 2006 train bombing in Mumbai, India, and the February 2007 Samjota Express bombing in Panipat, India. Qasmani utilized money that he received from Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar, an Indian crime figure and listed terrorism supporter, to facilitate the July 2006 train bombing in Mumbai, India. Qasmani also conducted fundraising activities on behalf of LeT in late 2005," said the UNSC resolution clearly.
The United States had also declared the role of LeT and Al-Qaida in 2009."Since 2001, Arif Qasmani has also provided financial and other support and services to al Qaida, including facilitating the movement of al Qaida leaders and personnel in and out of Afghanistan, the return of foreign fighters to their respective countries, and the provision of supplies and weapons. In return for Qasmani's support, al Qaida provided Qasmani with operatives to support the July 2006 train bombing in Mumbai, India, and the February 2007 Samjhauta Express bombing in Panipat, India. In 2005, Qasmani provided Taliban leaders with a safe haven and a means to smuggle personnel, equipment, and weapons into Afghanistan," said the detailed press release of US Treasury in 2009. Despite these clear facts, the Congress leaders hushed them up and started a malicious campaign against the RSS and Hindu leaders with the help of "cunning Left and Liberals". It was Chidambaram who ordered the charge-sheeting of Swami Aseemanand and Lokesh Sharma, Kamal Chauhan and Rajinder Chaudhary. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) also added four persons who are absconding or believed to have eliminated two persons also as accused and floated all kind of conspiracy theories. All accused told the court several times that they were tortured to admit. Now all the accused are acquitted. It is time to probe into the frauds and manipulations orchestrated by the Congress leaders, who spoiled the life of many people. It is high time Congress leaders and Ministers engaged in hushing up the findings on LET and created fake Hindu Terror Theory and tortured the "Right Wing activists" are probed.
