| DEC organizes special voter awareness programme at Court Complex | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 30: In order to enhance electoral participation in the forthcoming General Election 2019, District Election Cell (DEC) Udhampur in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) organizes Special voter Awareness programme at Court Complex on Saturday. Awareness programme was organized under the chairmanship of Sanjay Parihar, Chairman District Legal Services Authority Udhampur under the banner of Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) at Court Complex Udhampur for Bar members, litigants and judicial employees regarding EVM/VVPAT .
Secretary DLSA, Sandeep Kour and Deputy Election Officer Udhampur, Dr Kusum Chib were also present on the occasion .
A large number of Bar members, Court employees including general public participated in the training programme who were provided hands on training by the master trainer Subash Singh.
Speaking on the occasion Chairman DLSA Sanjay Parihar said that in a democracy, elections are the biggest opportunity to bring about the change and vote is the biggest weapon for this change. |
